Abstract
Mexican pictorial manuscripts offer rare insight into Ancient Mexican culture, particularly since disciplined study in this area is a relatively recent scholarly phenomenon. This study contains introductory chapters on writing, numerical and calendrical systems and materials, and in the catalogue, discussion of the texts, pictures, authors and history.
