Catalogue of Stone Age Artefacts from Southern Africa in the British Museum

Abstract

• The archaeology of the Old Stone Age of Southern Africa is of major importance to our understanding of human adaptation and evolution over the last two million years. This volume considers the history of archaeological discovery in this region then goes on to provide a review and analyses of key collections in the British Museum showing their relevance to modern research.
