The Ringlemere Cup: Precious Cups and the Beginning of the Channel Bronze Age

In 2003 the British Museum acquired the recently discovered Ringlemere gold cup, a rare example from the Early Bronze Age. This is the first proper catalogue of a small group of similar cups in exotic materials which are put into a broader period context. They have profound significance for understanding the development of Bronze Age culture in north-west Europe, for which it should be a standard reference work.
